FNPS Student Travel Award

The Fetal and Neonatal Society is pleased to announce the establishment of a new prestigious FNPS Student Travel Award, for the highest-ranked abstract by a PhD student, submitted for presentation at the annual meeting.

The prize consists of $2,000 AUD towards the costs of travel and registration for the annual meeting.

Nomination for consideration for the prize can be made during abstract submission. 

Eligibility
Applicants must provide evidence confirming their PhD status (e.g. letter form supervisor, copy of university enrolment confirmation).

Assessment
Eligible nominated abstracts will be assessed by a panel of FNPS board members and conference organisers to identify the highest quality abstract describing research that:

1. Addresses a very significant issue 
AND/OR 
2. Uses novel experimental approaches to solving a previously well-studied problem 
AND/OR 
3. Reports a high impact discovery

The award winner will be notified soon after a decision is made by the assessment panel, well in advance of the the annual meeting, to help travel plans. 

Applications for the award close on Friday 12th July 2019.
